History

Since 2011, I have been researching the early works of acclaimed songwriter Jim Steinman. I have scoured multiple libraries, newspaper archives, and other collections, discovering numerous demo recordings, scripts, programs, photos, letters, and other materials that had been hidden for decades.

In 2015, after I found a lost recording of Steinman's song "Orphan River," it was performed live on stage for the first time in 42 years, at a Steinman tribute concert in New York.

In 2019, I was honored and delighted to design a lobby display for the 50th anniversary performance of Steinman's musical The Dream Engine at Amherst College, as well as photograph the event.
